Leverage Nigeria’s Natural Resources for Educational Success — Omomedia Charge Students

Students have been urged to harness Nigeria’s abundant natural resources as a pathway to achieving academic excellence and building sustainable careers.
This charge was given by Dr. Isaac Omomedia during the 3rd Passing-Out Parade and 5th Matriculation Ceremony of All Nations Institute of Marine & Technology as the Chairman of the occasion.
Delivering his remarks, Dr. Omomedia emphasized that success in any career rests on two critical pillars: unwavering trust in God and deliberate physical and intellectual preparation. He encouraged students to remain focused, disciplined, and proactive in acquiring relevant skills that align with global demands.
In his address, the Founder of the institute, Chief Engr. Emmanuel Ighomena, disclosed that the institution, established in 2021, has continued to blaze the trail in Nigeria’s educational sector through innovation and quality training.
He highlighted the institute’s diverse academic offerings, which include:
Nautical Science (ND & HND)
Maritime Transportation and Business Studies (ND & HND)
Computer Science (ND)
Computer Networking & Cloud Computing (HND)
Software & Web Development (HND)
Marine Engineering (ND)
Chief Ighomena further noted that the institute holds the distinction of being the first private institution to run Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Marine Engineering and Technology, positioning it as a leader in specialized maritime education in Nigeria.
The event attracted students, parents, academic staff, and stakeholders in the education sector, marking another milestone in the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
High points of the ceremony was the inspection of guard of cadets by the Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Isaac Omomedia and award of scholarship to indigen students.
