Oborevwori Celebrates Akpowowo at 53, Hails Festus Keyamo at 56

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, on his 53rd birthday, and the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, as he marks his 56th birth anniversary.

The goodwill messages were conveyed in statements issued in Asaba by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon.

Governor Oborevwori described Rt. Hon. Akpowowo as a grassroots-driven leader known for humility, political maturity, and strong connection with the people of Eku community and Ethiope East Local Government Area.

He noted that Akpowowo’s political journey reflects steady growth and dedication to public service, recalling his impactful tenure as Commissioner for Urban Renewal and his current role as Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

The Governor commended the Deputy Speaker for providing effective legislative leadership alongside the Speaker, adding that his contributions have strengthened governance and democratic development in Delta State.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta State, I congratulate Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo on his 53rd birth anniversary. His record of service and commitment to the wellbeing of our people are both visible and enduring,” Oborevwori said.
Governor Oborevwori also felicitated the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, on his 56th birthday, describing him as a distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria, seasoned public servant, and patriotic Delta son.
He praised Keyamo for his leadership in repositioning Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace sector through improved safety standards, institutional efficiency, and increased investor confidence.
The Governor further commended the Aviation Minister for his consistency, courage, and professionalism in public office, noting that his stewardship has brought renewed visibility and strategic direction to the sector.
Governor Oborevwori also acknowledged Chief Keyamo’s commitment to the unity and growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State and across the country, describing him as a dependable party leader and bridge-builder.
“Chief Festus Keyamo is a worthy ambassador of Delta State whose service to the nation continues to bring pride to our people. I wish him good health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service,” the Governor stated.
Governor Oborevwori prayed for continued good health, greater fulfilment, and sustained success for both leaders as they continue to contribute to the development of Delta State and Nigeria.
