Governor Oborevwori Effects Minor Cabinet Reshuffle, Nominates Three for DELSU Governing Council
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor reshuffle in the State Executive Council, involving the redeployment of four commissioners.
The reshuffle, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu.
According to the statement, the affected commissioners are as follows:
Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka has been redeployed from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy.
Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu moves from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
Mrs. Rose Ezewu has been redeployed from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education.
Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu moves from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The statement noted that the redeployment is part of ongoing efforts by the Oborevwori administration to strengthen service delivery and enhance efficiency across key sectors of government.
DELSU Governing Council Appointments
In a related development, Governor Oborevwori has also approved the nomination of three eminent Deltans into the Governing Council of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
The nominees are:
Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas
Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha
Chief Charles Ajuyah, SAN
The SSG’s statement further disclosed that the date for the inauguration of the Governing Council members will be announced in due course.
The appointments are expected to further strengthen governance and strategic leadership at the state-owned university.
