Door-to-Door Initiative for Gov. Sim Rebrands to Promote Good Governance in Line with Peace Accord

In a move aligned with the recent directive of the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, the Rivers State Door-to-Door Initiative for Sim has officially rebranded itself as the “Door-to-Door Initiative for Good Governance.”
The group’s National Leader, Hon. ThankGod Raymond made this known in an official statement addressed to the Governor. He commended the governor’s bold steps toward achieving peace and reconciliation in Rivers State, particularly the peace accord with the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, and members of the State House of Assembly.
According to Hon. ThankGod Raymond, the renaming of the group to “Door-to-Door Initiative for Good Governance” is a direct response to the governor’s call for the dissolution of all political support platforms in the interest of unity and good governance.
“This transformation signifies our total alignment with your current drive for peace, inclusivity, and a united Rivers State,” the statement read. “We fully support your administration’s vision of building a state where governance is people centered, development-focused, and driven by a renewed spirit of harmony and progress.”
The group pledged continued support for the administration’s development agenda and vowed to sensitize, mobilize, and educate the grassroots on the values of peace, unity, and transparent governance across all 23 local government areas of the state.
Hon. ThankGod Raymond further praised Governor Fubara’s leadership style, describing his peace-centered approach as a testament to statesmanship and a unifying force in the political landscape of Rivers State.
“We reaffirm our total support and loyalty to your administration and assure you that we shall continue to propagate your message of peace and good governance across every ward, community, and household in Rivers State,” he concluded.
