APC Oshimili South Ward 8 Leader, Azinge, hosts enlarged Exco meeting, welcome PDP defectors

The leader of Ward 8 of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), in Oshimili South local government, Chief ( Prof) , Nick Azinge , on Sunday April 27th 2025, hosted an enlarged executive meeting of the ward at lsieke quarters in Asaba, the State capital.

The ward 8 enlarged Exco meeting also resolved to welcome new members especially from the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) to its fold in line with the emerging current realities , on the condition of due registration with the party , adherence to the APC’s constitution, and alignment with the existing structure they will be meeting on ground.

At the meeting presided over by the Ward Chairman , Hon Frank Afam Okolie, the APC Ward 8 Oshimili South , expressed confidence that the integration of defecting PDP members into the party in general , and ward 8 , in particular, will be seamless and without rancour.

According to the enlarged ward 8 exco meeting, the issuance of party membership registration cards will commence as soon as the necessary go-ahead formalities were conveyed by the relevant apparatus of the party at the state level, through the various LGA chapters, and, thereafter , the wards

While appreciating the ward 8 leader and Ugobueze of Asaba , Chief ( Prof) Nick Azinge, for his unwavering support towards the stability and unity of the ward , the meeting equally appreciated intending members for their desire to join the party , but however stated that such intending members should remember that they met old members on ground, even if all members will be treated equally .

The well attended enlarged Exco meeting of ward 8 APC Oshimili South which was also attended by a ward chieftain , Ogbueshi Agbalanze , passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the party at the zonal and state levels , led by Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka and Elder Omeni Sobotie, respectively.
